Well, this has been fun! I have really enjoyed learning new things and really really really enjoyed the playing part! 🙂 I loved flickr, youtube, and the wiki’s. I’m part of the group that disliked RSS feeds. (I will admit to that!) I know that I finish this with more confidence in my technical abilities and feel more up to date on the cool things out in cyberspace! (I think the term cyberspace is dated! Oops!) I hope that we do this again with 23 new things to LEARN AND PLAY!

I have used this feature before and LOVE IT!!! I have not downloaded a book but I have done audiobooks and enjoy using it. It is easy to use and fun! MODLI gets a thumbs up from me! 🙂

OK I did find a pod cast on a library I was not able to look at it because the computer would not allow the download to happen. I like the idea of pod-casting and think that with some thought it could be implemented into libraries nationwide. CML toolbox web 2.0
I posted a thought on the power tools page. I think that it is great we are highlighting the web and the cool things out there. If we are to be on track as the library of the future I think more tech things are needed and they should be helpful/user friendly.

I choose craigslist.com. I have used this in past to look for things currently a car! I am not sure how the library would be able to use this. If there are big items to get rid of maybe posting them on the site would give us a better chance to sell on a wider scale. I am in love with craigslist and it is not the most user friendly at first but it gets better!
Google Docs
Ok, so I was not that crazy about google docs. I see the point in them I think. I really don’t know if I will use them much but it is a good thing to know about! 🙂
Playing with Wiki October 13, 2008
Ok, it took me a minute to figure out this part of the wiki but I did and still think it is an amazing tool. I think that I will be using it more in future. I think that wiki are pretty cool and I hope we do more with them later on!

I wish I knew about this sooner!! I am planning my vacation and this would have been very helpful! I think this is a great site to know about. I really see the Library being able to use this. We could set a WIKI bulletin board one for staff and one that the public can use to post events similar to the ones we have at branches now. I think more people would get to see the cool things that the library offers now. I can’t wait to use WIKI!!!

I can see how this would be helpful in Cml workplace. I know we use the favorites now in marking websites that are often used and the problem then is if you are on a different computer you cannot access the favorites you have saved. I really think that this is a cool site and will try to use it more at work and at home.
